About me

To be short and sweet, my clients are the best part of my job.  Mind you, I love the actual physical aspect of my work as well, which is the sifting and manipulating of soft tissue.  I imagine I’m creating a beautiful sculpture...a new piece of art rivaling that of some of the great masters like Rodin or Michelangelo.  Together, these two aspects of my work...connection and the ability to create, feeds me and is why I have continued to practice the art of bodywork for these past 11 years.

Now on to the less captivating (but important) professional side:

I graduated from Hesser College’s Massage Therapy Program in Portsmouth, NH, and received my New Hampshire State License for Massage Therapy, which still holds current, today.  In 2012, I took the plunge back into school to further my education in “whole body” health. After the completion of a 4-year degree program at The University of Vermont, I now hold a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Science.  In addition to both of these studies, I continue to explore new ways to enhance my bodywork skills and techniques, and to further my understanding of the human body, with continuing education classes and certifications. These currently include:

  • Completion of Structural Integration (S.I.) apprenticeship in the Ida P. Rolf 10-Series method with Duffy Allen, MS BCSI

  • Rolf Movement Integration: The Ten Series as Skills of Perception and Coordination with Kevin Frank and Caryn McHose, Boulder, CO

  • Myofascial Mobilization Certification and Fascial-Pelvis Myofascial Release Certification, John F. Barnes MFR Treatment Centers & Seminars

  • Neurofacilitation for Better Movement with Mitch Hauschildt, MA, ATC, CSCS

  • RockTape FMT Blades Certification, Williston, VT

  • Deep Tissue Massage Course with Dr. James Mally

  • Intuitive Tools for Professionals Class with Gayle P. Myers, MD and Gwyneth R. Flack, MA

  • Contemporary Cupping Methods Certification, via the International Cupping Therapy Association (ICTA)
